Hello Friends,
It’s been too long since I’ve taught an Asian themed class… and the wait is over! This one is literally “off the charts” delicious! Some of my all time favorites mixed in with some new creations. With my Korean roots… I have a love for food with big flavor. I am talking about dishes that you will have you thinking about and wanting again for days if not weeks after feasting on them. This menu was a HUGE hit at the table! You will also learn how to grill the “perfect” steak… a must know for everyone. So grab you significant other… because this class is the perfect date night!
Here’s what is on the menu: Grilled Steak with a Korean Glaze (so good you will want to drink it! Also amazing on chicken, pork, fish, veggies… literally anything! Trust me.. this glaze will become a staple in your home…it’s that good!), Pumpkin Soup (this was (and still is) a favorite of mine growing up)… I’ll let you in on a secret… it’s actually made with Kobacha Squash.. the sweetest, most delicious squash around! Kimchi Slaw… I freaking love this stuff and for the best finish… a Coconut Panna Cotta with a Guava Sauce (There aren’t words adequate to describe just how good this dessert is!).
I will be teaching this class on Friday, March 9th at 5:30.For at least the next two months (possibly longer), I will not be teaching classes on Thursdays due to my boy’s volleyball games. Friday night’s make the best GNO and date nights anyways! I will only be teaching this class this one night only due to my busy schedule, so let me know ASAP if you want in!
My limit for each class is 24 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! Yes, this is a cooking class plus dinner. You got to love that! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $80.00 per person. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you with more information about the class and tentatively put your name on the reservation list. When I receive your check, I will reserve your spot (31801 Via Perdiz, Coto de Caza, CA 92679, Checks made payable to Jenny Evans). Or even better… pay with Venmo (@jenny-evans-9). My classes are filling up really fast so please let me know if you are interested before you pay to make sure there is an open spot. For cancellations, I require a “2 weeks notice before the class” notice for a refund or class credit.
I have had a lot of requests for private classes. I have taught gatherings for birthdays, couples classes, company parties or just someone that wanted to learn a past menu and got a group of friends together to learn. I love doing these party- like classes and talk about a good time! Please feel free to contact me anytime if you are interested in doing such a class. The cost for a private class is 1,494.00 and can accommodate up to 18 people.
Anyone is invited to attend, so please feel free to forward this on to your friends, neighbors and family. I hope you can join me for another gathering of delicious food and a fun night!
Happy Cooking!
Jenny Evans
