After a long break…. I’m back! And I’m starting my first class in 2018 with an epic menu! If you love Mexican food like I do…. you’re not going to want to miss this one. These dishes are inspired from a Mexican feast I went to that was a collaboration of a group of chefs from all over. I went home and went straight to work and yes.. I hit the jackpot! I’m excited to share these amazing dishes with you.
I’ve never like mole sauce. Every time I had it, it was just too bitter for my taste. That is… until I went to the feast that I mentioned above… and I was so inspired to come up with a mole sauce that I love and knew everyone else would too. I have since served it numerous times and it is a huge hit every single time. It’s such a versatile sauce… but I decided to use it in the most epic enchiladas. It’s hard to not eat half the pan!
Here’s what’s on this mouth watering menu: Chicken Enchiladas with Mole Sauce, Greens and Apples Salad with a Smoky Jalapeño Vinaigrette, Black Bean Soup with Smoked Pork Belly and for the perfect finish… Orange Creamsicle Tartlets with Blackberries.
I will be teaching this class on Thursday, February 22nd at 5:30.
My limit for each class is 24 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! Yes, this is a cooking class plus dinner. You got to love that! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $80.00 per person. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you with more information about the class and tentatively put your name on the reservation list. My classes are filling up really fast so please let me know if you are interested before you pay to make sure there is an open spot. For cancellations, I require a “2 weeks notice before the class” notice for a refund or class credit.
I have had a lot of requests for private classes. I have taught gatherings for birthdays, couples classes, company parties or just someone that wanted to learn a past menu and got a group of friends together to learn. I love doing these party- like classes and talk about a good time! Please feel free to contact me anytime if you are interested in doing such a class. The cost for a private class is 1,494.00 and can accommodate up to 18 people.
