Hawaiian Inspired

Hello Friends,

Oh boy am I excited to share these over the top amazing dishes with you! As most of you know... I spent a month over in the North Shore, Hawaii and I came home and recreated some of my absolute favorite things I devoured while there. With these dishes being a six hour flight away... I had to recreate them so I can get my fix when I crave them! My family is pretty darn happy about it too! Let's just say we have pretty much been living off these delectable dishes and desserts. Yes...they really are that good!

Let me first tell you what's on the menu and then I will tell you about them. Here we go: Pulled Pork (Hawaiian style) Grilled Cheese with a Macadamia Nut Pesto, Banana Macadamia Nut Pancakes, Coconut Pancake Syrup, Lilikoi (aka passion Fruit) Pancake Syrup, My All Time Favorite Acai Bowl and a Banana Bread Sundae.

Now... to tell you about these dishes! Yes, they are so good I have to tell you something about each one! Let's start with the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Can I just say, I have never in my life bit into a grilled cheese sandwich and have an "out of body experience" until I bit into this one! The one I had in Hawaii was made with Kalua Pig. I am make mine with an amazing slow cooked pulled pork that will fill your home with such a mouth watering aroma...your family will be begging you for it until you get it into their mouths! True story... it happened here in my home with every family member that walked through our door. And they asked for it every day because they knew I had leftovers. This sandwich will make you a sandwich making idol. Oh my... that sandwich took a whole paragraph to describe. Stay with me people!

If you've been to Hawaii, you have probably had some Hawaiian pancakes with their syrup. The two tops for us were the coconut and lilkkoi syrups. Epic breakfast experience. Will you ever have maple syrup again? It's questionable. I seriously did not like acai bowls until I went to a particular place in Hawaii and boy oh boy did I fall madly in love! It turned me into a "have to have one daily" kind of a fool. But I only liked that particular one from that particular place. I came home and discovered another place I am obsessed with. I am happy to say, I can recreate it perfectly! Good thing too, because those bowls are crazy expensive to buy! It's not only about the ingredients... it's about the proportions too. It's perfectly satisfies my daily craving for a fraction of the cost... thankfully!

Last of all I cannot begin to tell you how much I fell in love with a certain Banana Bread Sundae while on the island (you can read about it on my blog). We were driving up the coast multiple times a week to have it. The good news here is not only can you learn to make the sundae... but the Coconut Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is to die for on it's own! I mean life changing people. I like to describe it as a Mounds Banana Bread. So incredibly moist with the perfect flavors going on. You won't believe the love and compliments you will receive when you share a loaf of it with your friends. Best gift ever! So there you have it! Is your mouth watering yet? Seriously though... this class will be a favorite... I can bet on it!

I am holding this class two nights. Thursday, October 16th and 17th at 5:30 pm. Don't delay to sign up because this will fill quickly!

My limit for each class is 18 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $65.00 per person.
