  • My Cooking Segment on Fresh Living!

For my cooking segment on the Fresh Living show, I made my Mexican Chicken Soup with Rice Soup. It is one of my all time favorite soups ever! Just look at the yummy ingredients I have displayed here.

All prepped and ready to go!

Meeting Casey, one of the show’s hosts.

I tell you … the time when taping these segments goes by in a flash! Working with great hosts like Debbie and Casey makes it go smooth.

Just look at this soup! You have to make this… you will thank me later. I know it will become one of your favorites too!

I loved being part of this show! Everyone at KUTV was awesome… nicest people! To watch the segment click HERE

  • Good Things Utah Valentines Day!

I was a guest again on Good Things Utah today (Valentines day) with this awesome threesome!

Chocolate Molten Lava Cake is the perfect Valentine’s dessert and is what I chose to share today.

Pre-show…. all prepped and ready to roll!

Here I am with Troy (right before we went on) talking about the segment. Getting our ducks all lined up in a row.

I guess I said something funny. Troy is a “hoot” by the way! And such a pleasure to work with!

That’s a wrap! To watch the segment, click HERE. (On a side note… my sweet valentine helped me prep this segment and sat on the sidelines as my biggest support. Love him forever!)

  • Good Things Utah Segment…. Truly a Good Thing!

Before the segment, Troy (One of the show’s hosts) came over to say “hello” and can I tell you what a hoot he is?  He had me rolling! Lucky me.. he was also with me for my segment! Gretchen and Nisha, the other two hosts also came over to introduce themselves and I loved each and every one of them. It was like a party being around them!

My sweet hubby came to help me. I don’t know what I would’ve done without him! First of all, we woke up to a snow storm and icy, dangerous roads. I don’t think I could’ve driven myself there. He also helped with all the prep I had to do before the show. Don’t know how I got so lucky when I captured his affections!

Before I knew it, it was showtime!

    I put Troy to work!

There she is… Amazing-ness in that pan of mine!

The finished product…. Mmmmmmm! The perfect Christmas morning breakfast. Easy and over the top delicious!

These gals were dying over this dish! Gretchen told me they don’t normally hang out in the kitchen after the segment so this made me happy!

These sweet people thought to gather for a photo. So glad because I would’ve forgot to and probably wouldn’t want to ask. See why I want to take them home with me? Man…. I look short!

I have to give a big thank you and shout out to my all time favorite culinary store… Sur La Table! They happily provided me with all the cooking supplies I needed for the show. Just another reason from the already hundreds of why I love this store! And Melissa… you are the best!

  • Me and Pillsbury!

Me and Pillsbury?! Really?? Really! That’s me up there in their article they are featuring for the holidays. How does this happen you ask? Well… this is the low down. Is that gangsta talk? That I am definitely not, but you know what I mean.

One day out of the blue, I get an email from the associate managing editor for Pillsbury asking if they can feature my website in their article and use my decorative pie cut out image and link to my site. Uhhhh…. yes! So here we are. Up there. And I am smiling.

Check out the whole article here.
