    Hello Friends,

I have been wanting to teach you all some of my amazing and easy to make soups but haven’t had enough time… so I am finally making the time! On one special night this month it is going to happen! Isn’t soup such a pleaser? It always is for me and my family. It just hits the spot. And not only am I teaching three of my amazing soups, but per request I am teaching two of my favorite cookie type bars that you are going to flip over! Literally FLIP with unreal joy… no exaggeration.

Those that miss this class will hear about these items and will have major “after the class is over” regret. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I guess you can kind of call this class another one of my basics as all these dishes and desserts fit in that category. Very requested and very loved (can I add very easy too?).

So here’s what’s on the menu: My Chicken Noodle Soup with Homemade Noodles (not hard to make either!), Vegetable Beef Soup (my personal favorite and heavenly good!) and my New England Clam Chowder (comfort food at it’s best), My Carmelita’s (probably my most requested and loved dessert bar) and my personal favorite… My Smore’s bar (I don’t make these too often because I can and will finish the whole pan in nothing flat!).

I will be teaching this class on Thursday, April 24th at 5:30. I still have some open spots so let me know ASAP if you want in!

My limit for each class is 18 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $60.00 per person. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you with more information about the class and tentatively put your name on the reservation list. When I receive your check, I will reserve your spot (31801 Via Perdiz, Coto de Caza, CA 92679, Checks made payable to Jenny Evans). Or feel free to call me (949-533-4038) to pay by credit card. My classes are filling up really fast so please let me know if you are interested before you send me a check to make sure there is an open spot. For cancellations, I require a “10 days before the class” notice for a refund.

I have had a lot of requests for private classes. I have taught gatherings for birthdays, couples classes, or just someone that wanted to learn a past menu and got a group of friends together to learn. I love doing these party- like classes and talk about a good time! Please feel free to contact me anytime if you are interested in doing such a class. I require 16 people for a private class.

Anyone is invited to attend, so please feel free to forward this on to your friends, neighbors and family. I hope you can join me for another gathering of delicious food and a fun night!

Be sure to visit me on my blog at www.jennysgatherings.com. I have a new recipe from my last class as well as cooking and product tips posted on it so check it out! Hello Friends,

Both classes are now full but you can email if you are interested and I will see if I get enough interest to add an additional date. You can also email me and let me know if you want to be on the wait list for either day. Email jennyleeevans@gmail.com

I am doing something different for my next menu, but not at all less fulfilling or delicious. You know I wouldn’t sacrifice flavor for anything! Yes, I am teaching an all vegetarian menu. Now, now…. before you go rolling your eyes… you have to believe me when I tell you how amazing these are. They had to pass my kids approval and my meat loving bunch fully loved every bite of each one of these dishes! Healthy meals can be over the top delicious and satisfying too! For my vegetarian friends, sorry it took me so long!

I have to admit… I love the way I feel after I finish off one of these meals. I don’t feel like I have a boulder in my stomach. I feel full, but not in a “I am so full I am going to burst” kind of way. And that my friends is a good feeling. Once again, I know these dishes will become regulars at your dinner table. They are at mine!

Here is what is on this fantastic menu: Veggie Tacos like you have never had before with the most amazing sauce in the world (I am not kidding you about this sauce. Beyond killer!), Lettuce wraps that taste like they have meat in them but don’t (I know… I am good ;)) that will rival PF Changs…. so good! Zuchinni Rolls (What’s not to love about zucchini and cheese?), Spaghetti Squash done right! And my Bulgar Wheat Salad (think stir fry… kind of) with an Asian dressing. I know you will fall in love with each one of these dishes.

The dates for the classes are Thursday, March 6th and Friday, March 7th both at 5:30 pm. The Thursday class is already full but I am accepting names for a wait list. I still have spots open for the Friday class!

    Lava cake

    Hello Friends,

My Valentines menu was so good and popular that I did it 4 times in California and now I am bringing it to Utah! Here’s your chance Utah friends to take one of my classes.

I have worked on some of the classic “favorites” as well as some creative favorites for this one. Together they will make for a memorable meal that will never be forgotten. I know these dishes will become favorites of yours that you will make over and over again. In fact, when I tasted them, I surprised the heck out of myself! Man… sometimes I am good…. I mean really, really good! Ahem…. ok enough boasting.

The special Valentines Day menu I created for you is: Steak over a Crostini with Cheese (and a ton of other amazing flavors), A Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing, Roasted Cauliflower with Chimichurri (This is the dish that will be my claim to fame… seriously… how did I make cauliflower that good?!), Cheesy Spoon Bread (think spoon dipping goodness) and Chocolate Molten Lava Cakes for the “knock it out of the park” finish!

See what I mean? This menu is simply perfect in every way. This class is would also make the perfect date night… an early Valentines Day present! But no worries if you are coming solo.. there will be couples and solo learners/ feasters! It will be a fun night for all.

The class will be held on February 17th at 5:30 pm in Lehi. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $60.00 per person. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you with more information about the class and tentatively put your name on the reservation list.  You can call me (949-533-4038) to pay by credit card. • Quick Dinners 2 Class

I am doing it again… Quick Dinners round two! My first one was so popular and became your go to recipes for your families. So here we go again with new dishes to add to your quick dinner nights!

    IMG_7310

Pizza…. a favorite of most everyone! You will be able to make this whole pie (including the made from scratch dough) in less time than ordering one for delivery and getting it to your home. And it will taste thousands times better!

    IMG_3083

Pasta Carbonara. Another family favorite! So creamy, full of flavor and satisfying! This is one of those dishes that your family will not just eat, but will “inhale!”

    IMG_7177

These Spinach and Feta Stuffed Pork Chops are not only fast to make, but look fancy enough to serve on special occasions. You will love everything about this one!

    IMG_4504

Carnitas Calzones…. yes they are just as amazing as they sound. Mexican/ Italian fusion…. it is a match made in heaven! And not pictured is the last dish… Soy Honey Chicken. A nice light dish, but heavy on flavor!

To check out the date for this class, click HERE. It is sold out but you can sign up to be on the wait list. If you are interested in having me add an additional class on Friday, January 10th (at 5:30), email me (jennyleeevans@gmail.com) and I will see if I get enough interest to add that date.

I am doing it again… round two… Quick Dinners! This is the number one requested class ever. Life is busy and we all want to make a nice homemade dinner for our families, but I know… time is short! We don’t want to skimp on the taste or the presentation and you won’t be doing either with these dishes. In fact, these dishes will wow anyone lucky enough to be at your table.

These tasty mains can be made in 30 minutes from start to finish, give or take 5 minutes. Now that is faster than ordering a pizza and getting it to your house! And yes… that includes the “made from scratch pizza dough”, rising time, assembling and baking. Can’t you just smell it now? Mmmmmmm!

The fabulous menu for this popular class is: My Fast and Delicious Pizza (one of my frequently made favorites in our home), Pasta Carbonara, Soy Honey Chicken, Spinach and Feta Stuffed Pork Chops and Carnitas Calzones. My family are BIG fans of each one of these dishes and you know they are my biggest critics!

With life being over the top busy in December, I decided to only hold this class on one day. But it sold out instantly! So why am I letting you know about it then? Because I am a softy and will add a day if there is enough interest in the class on the date I will add.

The class is being held on Thursday, January 9th at 5:30 (sold out, but you can be put on the wait list in case of cancellations). If their is enough interest, I will add Friday, January 10th at 5:30. You know the routine… email me if you are interested!

My limit for each class is 16 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! So come hungry! • Breakfast Class 2

    Description:

    Hello Friends,

I know many of you will be excited to hear I am teaching another breakfast class!  I heard from many of you that my last breakfast class was a favorite of yours and the recipes are used time and time again. I think the holidays is a perfect time to teach these amazing dishes to you. These are so good, I am sure you will want to serve some of them for your Christmas or Holiday breakfast.

Let’s get right to the menu! The breakfast dishes I will be teaching you are: A Stuffed Pumpkin French Toast with an Oat Crumb, A Banana, Chocolate, Macadamia Nut Scone with a Vanilla Icing, A Lemon Blueberry Scone with the Perfect Lemon Icing, Decadent Breakfast Potatoes, A Breakfast Crostata with Spinach and Sun Dried Tomatoes and A Huevos Rancheros Crostata. It is a full and amazing menu I know you are going to obsess about.

Can I tell you something? I have never liked scones. I have tried scones a countless number of times from different amazing bakeries, only to be disappointed once again with the dry texture. They just never gave me the satisfying, “this is oh so good” eating experience. And I expect that when I am eating a baked good of any sort! Well…. I never liked a scone until I made some of my own. Oh wow… I really mean OH WOW! You will flip over these babies!

And the french toast? You are going to die over this one! I took french toast to a whole other level. It instantly became a family favorite! The best part of these recipes are the ease of them. After all, the last thing we have time for during the holidays is a complicated dish. No worries… I have you covered. And be assured… these are all some serious crowd pleasers!

My limit for each class is 16 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $60.00 per person. *Please note the price change. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you with more information about the class and tentatively put your name on the reservation list. When I receive your check, I will reserve your spot (31801 Via Perdiz, Coto de Caza, CA 92679, Checks made payable to Jenny Evans). • Appetizers and Bread Bowl Bread Class

Here we go…. Appetizers Class Round Two! You cannot get enough great appetizer recipes and ideas, especially around the holidays! These ones will knock your socks off!

IMG_3627Isn’t this a beauty? You will flip over this one. Yummy and so functional as the Shepherds bread bowl for dips we all buy so much of during the holidays. I am so done with finding this bread sold out so often at the stores during the holidays so I decided to make it! SO glad I did because this one tastes “to the moon and back” better than the store bought version. And so cheap to make! And being shy in the background is the Amazing Baked Artichoke Dip. Of course I transfer it into this bread to serve. Don’t be silly!

    IMG_3370

I absolutely love crostini’s! What’s not to love…. a nice crusty bread, toasted just so with flavor packed toppings thoughtfully chosen to sit on top in the perfect layers…. YUM! I branched out and went BBQ flavored on this one. I never had, seen or heard of one like this before but I hit gold people! This is a BBQ Pulled Pork Crostini with a delicious Apple Slaw and some other delicious flavors under all that.

    IMG_2659

These babies are my new addiction. Greek and Mexican fusion = perfection! These are Queso filled Phyllo Dough Packets with a Cilantro Verde Sauce. Can’t get enough!

    IMG_2908

Do you have a perfect hummus recipe? If not, you need one and this is it! Everyone needs an amazing hummus recipe … really… you do! This is a new staple in our fridge. This here is my hubby’s addiction. He takes it to the office in little containers and gets giddy thinking about snacking on it. Again… really! I will also teach you how to make those amazing baked pita chips because you have to have pita chips when you eat your hummus!

    IMG_3398

And last but not least are these Spinach Salad Topped Cheese Crisps. I love me some lighter appetizers to munch on in the mix. Lots of good things going on with these. Please don’t think  these are complicated, hard to do appetizers. That is the last thing we need during the holidays! You will be surprised with how easy these are to make and put together. Beautiful and delicious can be easy as I will show you. I am your friend… not your foe!

These classes will be held on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th at 5:30. Please email me at jennyleeevans@gmail.com to reserve a spot. Once, I confirm your spot, you can send me your 60.00 class fee. I hope you can join me for another fun and delicious night!  Click HERE for more information.
