Hello Friends,

I have a lot of requests to teach another grilled pizza class. I have a date set for the original menu that I have taught. I know.. so, so good! I also want to know if anyone that has already taken that original class is interested in a Grilled Pizzas Class 2, with a completely different menu. Let me know if you are interested for either one.

The menu for the original class is: Arugula and Proscuitto Pizza with Fig Jam, Margherita Pizza with an amazing from “from scratch sauce” and a Carnitas Pizza that will “wow” your taste buds, a Spinach and Orzo Salad and a Berry Skillet Pie.

The date for this class will be on Thursday, June 25th at 5:30. No date is set for the Grilled Pizzas 2 class, I want to find out first if there is enough interest for the class.

This menu is beyond delicious and is such a fun menu for the summer or any outdoor or casual party!

My limit for each class is 18 people. I first demonstrate how to make all the dishes and then we feast! So come hungry! The cost of each class is $65.00 per person. Let me know if you are interested and I will contact you with more information about the class and tentatively put your name on the reservation list. When I receive your check, I will reserve your spot (31801 Via Perdiz, Coto de Caza, CA 92679, Checks made payable to Jenny Evans). Or feel free to call me (949-533-4038) to pay by credit card. My classes are filling up really fast so please let me know if you are interested before you send me a check to make sure there is an open spot. For cancellations, I require a “10 days before the class” notice for a refund.

I have had a lot of requests for private classes. I have taught gatherings for birthdays, couples classes, or just someone that wanted to learn a past menu and got a group of friends together to learn. I love doing these party- like classes and talk about a good time! Please feel free to contact me anytime if you are interested in doing such a class. I require 18 people for a private class.

Anyone is invited to attend, so please feel free to forward this on to your friends, neighbors and family. I hope you can join me for another gathering of delicious food and a fun night!

Be sure to visit me on my blog at www.jennysgatherings.com. I have a new recipe from my last class as well as cooking and product tips posted on it so check it out! Salads Class Recap

IMG_1837
Hello!

Do you all remember me? Sheesh… it’s been so long since I’ve blogged that I feel like I need to reintroduce myself to you! Life has been busy, so I hope you forgive me. My Instagram feed (@jennyevansgatherings) has truly become my real blog. It’s fast and convenient! I will try to post here as I get the chance.

I taught my annual Salads Class this month and want to share some of the recaps from the class with you all!

IMG_1718I love cooking with fresh ingredients and I know so many of you love eating them too! In these bowls, are arugula, kale and quinoa. Some ingredients for the making of an amazing salad.

IMG_1735My Watermelon Salad to be specific. Oh my… it’s so delicious!

IMG_1759Just ask one of the lucky people in my classes!

IMG_1671Another amazing salad, before the “big toss”. This one is my Kale and Brown Rice Salad. So hearty and good!

IMG_1924And last but not least, we learned how to make the most amazing Roasted Beets with Goat Cheese Salad. Those golden beets are a fave of mine!

IMG_1766A Cheesy Popover anyone? Man are these babies good! And such a perfect compliment to a dinner of salads!

IMG_1928For the perfect finish, we learned how to make the most delicious Individual Sticky Toffee Date Pudding Cakes. You can bet these were a huge hit! Don’t get me started on the amazing sauce!

IMG_1616I can’t leave without sharing some photos of the amazing people I am privileged to meet and be with each class. IMG_1646This particular night I had quite a few mother/ daughters come together for a night out! These two look more like sisters… so beautiful!

IMG_1817So many photographers take pictures of our dog Bailey. I usually don’t post any, but here you go! He is doing his usual thing during class…. hanging out.. barely awake.

IMG_1935I forgot to get a group shot of the first class, but luckily I remembered the second night! That cute group of gals in the front row is a beautiful mom, daughters and a daughter in law. How fun is that?! Thanks to all that came, learned and ate! I love what I do, but I love being with you all the most!

xoxo,

Jenny

Hello Friends,

It isn’t often that a chicken dish can wow you off your socks. Boy oh boy did I make one that will go down in the books of “one of the best chicken dishes ever”! Is you are in a rut and are in need of an off the charts new dish… this one is for you. Actually…. the whole menu is off the charts! Yup…. OFF.THE.CHARTS.

I just finished teaching an amazing salads class… just in time for summer. This menu is summer friendly too. Fresh and light. Well… the dessert has no flour… so that counts too, right?

I am teaching this June class before the “end of school” craziness. For my sake as well as yours! So get in while you can!

Here’s what’s on this “off the charts” menu: Lemon, Herbs and Browned Butter Roasted Chicken with Potatoes, Honey Glazed Carrots, My Italian Chopped Salad (I love me a good chopped salad!) and the absolute best Chocolate Flourless Cake. Isn’t your mouth just watering?

I will be teaching this class on Thursday, June 4th at 5:30 pm.

Healthy Bowls with Grains

Quinoa Lentel Bowl

Soba2

Green Bean

Peanut Butter Ball

Hello Friends,

Spring is right around the corner so it’s time to lighten things up! I have had requests for healthy dishes so here you go people! I am a strong believer that healthy should not taste “healthy”. Just with any dish I would teach and eat… it has to be bursting with amazing flavors and be crave worthy. Delicious and good for you… win win!

I love grains… the taste and nutritional benefits are amazing! We will be cooking with some grains that I know you will love. This menu will be meatless but all these dishes work perfect with any kind of meat or seafood if you choose to add them. I put the test with my kids (who are huge meat lovers) and they were licking their bowls clean! Even the dessert is guilt free. But I have to warn you… they are so addicting… it’s hard to stop. Cookies have just met their match!

Here is what’s on this amazing menu this go around: Quinoa Lentil Bowls, Green Beans and Eggplant Saute with Black Rice, Soba Noodles with Kale and Chard and Peanut Butter Date Balls for the sweetest treat. If you are ready to clean up your act…. or even if you aren’t, you will love each and every one of these dishes! I promise.

I will be teaching this class on Wednesday, March 25th at 5:30.
